Led by Leader Kim Younghun, the Urban Regeneration BU provides specialized architectural services for redevelopment, reconstruction, and private-sales housing development projects. The unit captures the diverse character and functions of urban living through architecture, from district redevelopment and apartment reconstruction to rental dormitories and private-sales housing. Based on Junglim Architecture’s organizational design, Kim is dedicated to creating differentiated residential designs and fostering healthy built environments through urban regeneration.

Kim majored in architectural design at Kookmin University’s Graduate School of Techno Design and joined Junglim Architecture in 2005, where he led a wide variety of residential projects for over 20 years as a design partner (DP) and a group partner (GP). He pursues both specialization and diversity in residential architecture with multi-family housing such as the Halla Vivaldi Apartments Yongjeong Cheongju, SK View Mixed-use Complex at City Hall Station, Yeonsan-dong, Busan, City Pradium The Gangnam and Paraspara Seoul, as well as public sector projects like regenerative improvements, youth rental housing, and rental dormitories.
