Led by Leader Kim Dongkwan, the Design SU strategically supports business units from design practice across multiple areas. The unit carries out major corporate projects while strategically supporting the design direction of projects undertaken by the BUs at the practical stage. Based on his extensive design experience, Kim aims to strengthen Junglim Architecture’s unique design competitiveness.

Having majored in architectural design at Kookmin University and its graduate school, Kim joined Junglim Architecture in 2006 where he has served as a design partner (DP) and senior team leader, currently leading the Design SU. His design portfolio includes diverse uses such as the Sinan Police Station, SK Chemical Ulsan Plant General Management Building, Korea University Anam Hospital Medicomplex New Building, Thinking Platform Dangsan, SK Siltron Employee Welfare Building, Hanmaeum Medical Center in Changwon, Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center Anseong Hospital, and Lotte Mall Westlake Hanoi. He pursues designs that comprehensively interpret client requirements and physical conditions, aiming to capture the client’s and design team’s unique stories rather than following passing architectural trends.
