Led by Leader Hong Sunghyun, the Total Habitat BU develops a variety of living spaces including urban residential-commercial complexes, private-sales housing in non-capital regions, lodging facilities sharing residential features, and small-scale dormitories where community is emphasized. The unit proposes diverse spaces based on multifamily housing, including brand apartment projects that raise customer and future resident satisfaction through differentiated designs, urban residential-commercial complex projects, regional hotel projects, as well as projects that propose spaces and support urban planning before architectural work begins in earnest. Based on extensive experience designing various residential and commercial facilities used by diverse users, Hong seeks how to satisfy both public interests and client benefits.

Having joined Junglim Architecture in 2007, Hong currently leads the Total Habitat BU. His notable projects include Samho Apartments Dogok Reconstruction, Joongheung S-Class DMC Han River Forest, Prugio The First Jeongeup, Prugio The First Wanju, Castle Star Officetel Ungcheon Yeosu, Lotte Mall Daegu, Lotte Mall Westlake Hanoi in Vietnam, Lotte World Shenyang and Nongshim Baeksan Artesian Water Plant in China, CJ The Center, and I-Park Wirye Phase 1 (C1-3BL). His design philosophy focuses on people- and environment-centered architecture that connects users with the surrounding context and design requirements, while considering the purpose and sustainability of architecture into the future.
